Working as a free agent I provide design consulting services for companies, individuals and non-profit organizations. I also design and print letterpressed Invitations and announcements.

Clients include Orbitz, Cheap Tickets, Lodging.com, The University Companies, Experimental Sound Studio, Mark Booth, False Walls, and happy newlyweds & parents.

 

Arc Worldwide – Senior Designer / Senior Art Director
August 1999 to February 2005

As a senior designer at Arc Worldwide (formerly Semaphore Partners and Giant Step) I developed the flow of eCommerce interaction, site information architecture, visual interface designs, and overall brand experience.

I estimated design effort for project budgets and timelines and verify project plans for design team effort. On larger projects I lead and art directed teams of designers and production artists to complete tasks within set deadlines.

I worked with clients to develop strategic design solutions that meet their needs and offer their consumers value added services through easy to use online tools. Those clients include GM, JCPenney, Lexis Nexis, Maytag, Sears and USG

 

Liska + Associates, Inc. – Designer / New Media Specialist
July 1997 to August 1999

As a Designer and New Media Specialist at Liska + Associates, I worked independently and in teams with other designers to develop compelling and appropriate communication design solutions.

I worked in both print and digital media on brand development and implementation through Web design, product literature and other forms of marketing material.

I played all roles on projects from the development of strategic creative briefs, project schedules and site architectures, through the visual design process to the last stages of programming and production. Our clients included Bosch, Grainger, Klein Bicycles and NEC Technologies.

 

Mark Oldach Design – Freelance Designer, Intern
Summer 1997, Summer 1996

At Mark Oldach Design I developed identities and their applications, informational literature, charts, event signage, and presentation mock-ups for clients including Caterpillar, Joffrey Ballet, Steppenwolf Theatre Company and University at Buffalo.
