I'll never have to mow the lawn again...

...not that I mow it now, but having TWO sons and a lovely husband covers all the manual labor tasks that, frankly, I really don't like to do.

I mean, my sons are not going to be little. These boys are going to tower over me. I have my own little army. People, don't mess with me, because I now officially have a brood of boys.

Can you believe it? For a girl that grew up in a home with only a Mom (and trust me, there was nothing 'only' about my Mom, she pulled the weight of a mom, a dad and many others), I am being thrust even further into boy-dom. I love it.

Gus as a big brother!

The ultrasound was amazing... we basically got to see baby D2 for a whole hour, first with a technician who explained EVERYTHING and second with the doctor, who was amazing and explained everything and said the baby's measurements were right on, just perfect for the due date. The placenta stuff we were kind of worried about? No longer a worry. It's totally out of the way and not blocking the cervix at all. I mean, this visit was so perfect, everything was perfect... and was even better when the doctor said my cervix looked normal, no change. WHAT a relief. Now, I'm only 19 weeks, and I was 24 weeks when I went on bedrest with Gus, but I'm feeling much more optimistic now that I will be out in public for the duration of this pregnancy.

When the technician said, 'Do you see that?" and we saw THAT, I started crying... just so exciting to finally know what we're having.

Now we have to figure out a name... boy names are hard! But I don't have to buy any new clothes!
