I didn't put him there.

I didn't put him there., originally uploaded by jannacybill.

Eli is everywhere. Under tables, couches, pinned against walls, tangled in toys... He gets places by twisting, half-commando crawling and rolling. He's trying to get up on his knees already, and I anticipate that by next week he'll have succeeded.

Gus is really getting into it, too. He's taken to playing leap frog with Eli, and he has somehow managed to keep his feet off of Eli's head. Gus likes how Eli can roll into him and climb on him. He even offers his head to Eli, hoping he'll grab his hair. I have a feeling once Eli is up and running the enthusiasm will wear off.

The best thing about this picture? Gus came over to Eli, patted him on his head and said, "It's okay, Eli. Mama will get you out of here."

And I did...after my heart burst out of my chest watching them together.
