Five weeks old
Wow, the time is going quickly! I feel like I should start baby proofing the house because one morning he's going to wake up and be walking with his finger stuck out, just searching for that perfect socket to stick it in.
Gustav is really growing (will I ever NOT say that?). When he is on his stomach, he can hold up his head and shift it from side to side. He's had a couple of spontaneous coos, surprising even himself. He can hold his attention on our faces for longer periods of time and has even begun to stare at Zeppo.

Soon Gustav will discover something new, his hands, fingers, and toes! What's that? Soon we'll be asking, "What happened to the baby?" Gustav will wearily be hearing people telling him how fast he has grown. Always remember all the joy of watching him grow every day, as it's so momentary. Of course, to us, any change or development Gustav makes is quite momentous. Love from Grandma/MOM

Hey, when will you be returning to work? I loved the updates this past week. I have a special bracelet for you and Gustav (sorry John and Zeppo)I just need to get them in the mail. I had a great time making them. I will use the address on your Christmas card (my favorite one this year) and send them out sometime this week. Keep watching....love you all.
