Thanks to Grammy Shirley for having Janice, and to Janice for having beautiful John, thanks to my Mom for 'keeping warm' that cold, heatless blizzard of a day in February of 1974, and thanks to John for Gus, our beautiful boy.
John really surprised me this weekend. I was suspicious starting last Tuesday, when I walked up to him at work and he instantly closed his computer. Then Thursday he came home and told me that I didn't need to clean, that he would clean up for me on Friday since he was working from home. Okay...???
After that comment, I thought maybe he was having someone coming to clean the house.
I came home to a small gift on the buffet. When I opened it, I was confused... it was a memory card for a digital camera that I did not have. His note told me to go in another room. There I found a digital SLR... in other words, a digital camera that would allow me to do manual adjustments and the ability to use crazy lenses. I've been wanting this kind of camera for about a year, especially with Babydays and just general frustration with my little camera.
