I love it when Gus falls asleep on my chest...
Gus is officially a month old today (what is the difference between weeks and months, anyway?).
A good question was asked by our lovely friend, Anji...how are we pronouncing Gustav?

Janna, My first real memory of "Mommy-bonding" with Alex was the first day that Ken went back to work and Alex fell asleep on my chest. It is the neatest feeling in the world. I can't even count the pictures I have of me sitting, or laying down with Alex all snuggled up just like this picture of you and your son. How sweet. Brought back some really sweet memories. Alex just won't tolerate that now at 6 ft and 159 lbs. Why is that? He is the more tolerate child of the two when it comes to mothering and fussing with them. When Kersten came to us she was really past the snuggle up on your chest stage, and I really missed that although we found other sweet close times together. I just wanted to say "thanks" for bringing back a warm memory for me. love ya
